About the job

Castle & Cubby is looking for a creative to join our in-house marketing team for 3 days per week (Mon/Tue/Wed) in Bayswater or remote for the right candidate. Immediate start.

As an experienced Graphic Designer, you will bring your creative flair, design eye, and attention to detail as well as experience in the systems we utilize to executive our campaigns and realize the plethora of opportunities with our very visual brand/s (including Gaga Games)

Utilizing existing brand assets, our ideal candidate will imagine fun, inspirational, and engaging visuals and layouts that support the execution of sales campaigns, web and landing page design, social media & email marketing content, and sales collateral across multiple client verticals.

Castle & Cubby & our sister business Gaga Games are imaginative and play based business and so we are seeking someone that can be imaginative and have a little fun with us!

Responsibilities

• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements
• Creating images, graphic elements and layouts using a range of design software
• Work with the marketing manager to produce final design
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Website and social media design and layout including video
• EDM design

Qualifications

• Proven graphic designing experience
• A strong portfolio of graphic work for small business
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Marketing experience favorable

Systems experience must-haves:

• Figma - we use this to design our emails and campaigns
• Adobe full suite
• Experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo) ideal
• Icon & illustration creation ideal but not imperative
• GIF creation
