Job Description

Are you passionate about uncovering deep insights that drive impactful product decisions? We are seeking a talented Mid-level User Researcher to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will work closely with our UX Research Lead, key stakeholders, and the wider Product & Engineering teams to drive evidence-based decision-making across our multi-sided business. You will have the opportunity to conduct research with a diverse group of users, including doctors, nurses, patients, and pharmacies, helping to shape the future of our products.

Day To Day
Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Leadership: Conduct ongoing user research to inform product design and development, contributing to both discovery and delivery cycles.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Assist in planning and facilitating collaborative workshops, such as co-design and discovery sessions, to generate actionable insights.
  • Research Execution: Plan, deliver, and facilitate UX research activities using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Synthesise findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Tools & Methodologies: Utilize a broad range of research tools and frameworks, such as Confluence, Jira, Optimal Workshop, Dovetail, Miro, and Figjam, to conduct and present research.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure research findings are integrated into product development processes.

Qualifications

  • Research Skills: Proficiency in both discovery/exploratory research and direct product delivery cycles, with experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
  • Workshop Facilitation: Experience in facilitating and assisting with workshops, including co-design and discovery sessions.
  • Curiosity & Insight: A natural curiosity to explore customer needs, pain points, and opportunities, and the ability to translate these insights into valuable design solutions.
  • Adaptability: Comfort working in dynamic environments where processes may evolve as the company grows.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Collaboration: A collaborative team player who can work effectively with designers, developers, and product teams.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Research, Design, or a related field.

About the Opportunity

Kokoda Property has significant Luxury development projects in both Melbourne and Brisbane and is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to assist in the creation, management and execution of property development and placemaking projects. You come with multi-marketing campaigns experience both in print, social and digital, having developed luxury brands across residential developments.


About You

We're in search of a versatile graphic designer with a broad skill set and experience in Luxury Property Design, who is keen to tackle all aspects of design applied to various channels, leading with digital, and motion graphics but still loves print.


Luxury property design isn't just essential—it's the heart and soul of this role! You'll dive deep into the essence of what luxury design is, infusing every corner with creativity and turning each space into a playground of opulence and style.

Picture this: you won't just understand luxury; you'll live and breathe it. You'll sprinkle magic into every detail, ensuring that each project is launched to perfection.


You will be self-motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude and be able to demonstrate your ability to manage competing priorities and tasks simultaneously whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail and meet deadlines.

You’re proficient in all publishing software, including Adobe Creative Suite, an understanding of video editing, motion, and digital design software like After Effects, Figma, or Sketch is highly regarded.

The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, take a design lead, love luxury property, design, interiors and consider yourself to have a great eye for style.


Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role will:

  • Manage and execute development projects for multi-marketing campaigns and initiatives, including event activations, brand partnerships and project marketing in both print and digital formats.
  • Luxury Property Design experience is essential
  • Address and execute creative briefs, ensuring design alignment with the brand's style guide.
  • Provide design advice and support to the Marketing team and ensure brand compliance.
  • Design and develop print and digital marketing materials, publications and collateral, and visual communication initiatives to meet the needs of each project aligned to the marketing strategy.
  • Design and develop creative content tailored for each audience group and communication channels to maximize engagement consistent with the Macquarie identity.
  • Liaise with, and assist in the management of, external providers to conceptualize and create designs for marketing campaigns and publications, ensuring supplier accreditation, compliance with approval processes, brand strategy and guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the brand.
