About the job

We are currently working on an amazing opportunity for a Design Ops Lead with one of Brisbane’s most successful E-comm organizations, paying up to $150k + super.


As the Design Lead, you will focus on continuously improving the design ops for the design system, implementing strategies to increase design system adoption and productivity.


You will design and deliver experiences that are focused on simplifying the customer experience and empower new designers to increase brand productivity.



Responsibilities

  • Develop operational systems and processes to enhance design efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage the design tools & systems, ensuring they meet design needs
  • Create a unified, cohesive set of UX and visual guidelines for mobile and web
  • Plan with various teams such as Development/Product and marketing to define the future of design systems
  • Create high-quality mocks and interactive prototypes
  • Use user research and data to influence the approach in scaling design systems
  • Inspire and collaborate with teams and stakeholders to define next-gen interfaces
  • Design & maintain the components, UI patterns, and documentation for design system
  • Work with teams to develop the tools and processes they need to build leading UX
  • Write documentation and usage guidelines


Skillset


  • Over 5+ years Design exp
  • Extensive Figma experience essential
  • Experience in Design System essential
  • Worked in multi-level organizations
  • Familiar with atomic design principles
  • Experience in leading/contributing to a design system
  • Proven experience in design ops
